Since 2013, children with serious illnesses and disabilities have been cared for at the New Kupferhof in idyllic surroundings so that the rest of the family can take a time out. The facility is an addition to the children’s hospices, because families can relax here when one of the children requires round-the-clock care, but is not terminally ill.
The parents and siblings enjoy their time here for and which each other or simply are be able to have a good night’s sleep. At the same time, the handicapped children receive the best possible care.
The regular visits of the clinic clowns have proved to be particularly valuable. Every severely handicapped child can participate in the performances of the clowns in its own way and is thus encouraged and enriched.
